The live event widget embeds one of your events on your own site, so visitors can see what's coming up and get tickets without leaving the page.
Setting it up
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find Widgets, then the Live Event Widget.
- Select Setup.
- Under Select a Live Event, choose which one to feature.
- Set the customization options.
- Copy the snippet from the code panel and paste it into your site.
The options
- Show Cover — the event artwork
- Show Genres — the genre tags
- Show Price — the ticket price
Plus background and foreground colours to match your site.
Show Price
Worth thinking about. Showing it qualifies people before they click, which is good for a reasonably priced event. Hiding it makes sense if the price varies by tier, or if you'd rather someone read what the night is before seeing a number.
Authorize your domain first
Widgets only render on domains you've approved, or visitors see an error. Do this before pasting the code. See Authorizing Domains for Your Widgets.
Where to put it
On your homepage or an events page. The strongest layout is a live event widget beside a booking widget — someone who sees you're actively playing is warmer to a booking enquiry.
Keeping it current
The widget features one specific event. When that event passes, it doesn't swap itself for the next one — you go back into the builder and select a different one.
Worth putting in your calendar. A widget still promoting last month's night is worse than no widget.
The other widgets

Testing
Open your page in a private browser window and check the event renders, the artwork loads, and the ticket link works.
