Pro and Platinum both come with a 14-day free trial, and you don't need a card to start one.
Starting it
Pick a paid plan from Settings → Plan & Billing → Upgrade, or during onboarding at the Plan step. You get full access to everything in that plan for 14 days.
Your subscription status shows as Trialing.
What you get
Everything in the plan, immediately:
On Pro — identity verification, SoundCloud sync, calendar sync, custom document uploads, embeddable widgets, and the extra analytics.
On Platinum — all of the above plus the PLATINUM badge, GigGuard eligibility, and API access.
The lower platform fee and faster payout delay apply during the trial too. That's worth knowing — a booking collected during your Pro trial is charged at 10%, not 20%.
When it ends
If you don't upgrade, you move automatically to Lite. Nothing is charged.
Your profile, bookings, mixes, posts, reviews, and payment history all stay. What you lose is access to the paid features — and your fee rate returns to 20% with a 6-day payout delay.
What to do with 14 days
Most DJs waste the trial by leaving it until the end. A better use:
Days 1–2. Do the one-time setup — identity verification on Pro, and importing your SoundCloud mixes. Verification carries on being useful, and imported mixes stay on your profile after the trial ends.
Days 3–5. Connect your calendar and set up any widgets on your own site.
The rest. Take bookings and see what the lower fee actually saves you.
Working out whether to keep it
The honest maths: what did you collect during the trial, and what would the fee difference have been? Dropping from 20% to 10% on a couple of decent bookings a month usually covers a Pro subscription on its own.
If you collected nothing during the trial, the plan isn't the problem — your profile and service areas are. See Your First Week: Getting Bookable.
One trial
The free trial is available once. If you've used it, upgrading starts billing straight away.
Upgrading before it ends
Select Upgrade at any point. You'll be charged when the trial period finishes, not immediately.
