Change your password from Settings → Account, in the Security section.
How
- Go to Settings → Account → Security.
- Select Change next to Password.
- Enter your Current Password.
- Enter and confirm the new one.
- Select Change.
The requirements
Your new password must:
- Be longer than 10 characters
- Contain a capital letter
- Contain a number
- Contain a symbol or other non-alphanumeric character
If you've forgotten it
Use Forgot your password? on the login screen. A reset link goes to your account email. Check spam if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
If you've lost access to your email
This is the harder one, because the reset link goes there. Contact [email protected] — you'll need to confirm who you are.
Worth avoiding: keep the email on your account current, especially if you're moving away from an old provider. See Updating Your Name, Email, Phone, and Birthdate.
Why it's worth protecting properly
Your account holds your client conversations, your booking history, and your bank details for payouts. Someone with access could message your clients as you.
- Use a password you don't use anywhere else
- Don't share it, even with someone helping run your bookings
- Change it if you think it's been seen
We'll never ask for it
Not in a message, not in an email, not in a support conversation. If someone claiming to be DJfindr asks for your password, report it.
Signing in without a password
You can link a Google or SoundCloud account and sign in with that instead. See Linking Google or SoundCloud Sign-In.
