Moving down a plan takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Here's what actually changes.

The numbers

Lite Pro Platinum
Platform fee 20% 10% 5%
Payout delay 6 days 4 days Same day

These apply to payments collected after the downgrade takes effect. Money already collected keeps the terms it was collected under.

Dropping from Platinum to Pro

You lose:

  • The PLATINUM badge on your profile and search card
  • GigGuard eligibility
  • API access and webhooks — existing tokens stop working
  • Same-day payouts, and the 5% fee

You keep everything in Pro, including identity verification and your verified badge.

Dropping from Pro to Lite

You lose:

  • Identity verification — the verified badge comes off your profile, and you drop out of the Verified DJs search filter
  • SoundCloud sync — you can't import new mixes
  • Calendar sync — outside calendars stop syncing, so blocks from them stop protecting your dates
  • Custom document uploads — you're back to the eight templates
  • Embeddable widgets — widgets on your own site stop rendering
  • Mix plays and post likes in analytics

What you always keep

Whatever plan you're on:

  • Your profile, handle, and DJ Link
  • Your mixes and posts — including ones you imported from SoundCloud, which stay on your profile
  • Every booking, past and upcoming
  • Your reviews and completed event count
  • Your client list and conversations
  • Your payment and payout history
  • Booking requests, proposals, documents, and payments — the whole booking flow works on Lite

The ones that catch people out

Calendar sync stopping. If you were relying on a synced calendar to block dates, those blocks stop updating. Add busy blocks manually or you can be double-booked. See Creating a Busy Block.

Widgets going dark. A booking widget on your own website stops rendering. Worth removing the embed rather than leaving a broken block on your site.

The verified badge coming off. Clients filtering by Verified DJs stop seeing you entirely.

Before you downgrade

Check what you've collected recently under Finance → Payments and compare the fee difference against the monthly cost. If you're collecting steadily, a downgrade often costs more in fees than it saves in subscription.

Going back up

Upgrade any time — it takes effect immediately. Your verified badge returns without redoing verification.
