Profile Editor & Mixes
The Profile Editor gives you full control over every element of your public-facing DJ profile at djfindr.com/dj/your-slug. Accessing the Profile Editor Navigate to Content → Profile on your dashboard. Visual Identity - Profile Photo (Avatar): A clear headshot or DJ logo. Square crop, minimum 500×500px. - Cover Image: The full-width banner at the top of your profile. Use a high-resolution photo from a live gig for maximum impact. - Featured Video: Link a YouTube video that plays prominently on your profile (e.g., a hype reel or best performance footage). About Section - Stage Name: Your publicly displayed DJ name. - Bio: Your artist story — experience, venues, style, and personality. This is the first thing clients read. - Experience (Years): How long you have been performing professionally. - Age: Displayed on your profile to help clients gauge fit for certain events. - Travel Policy: Describe your travel availability and any associated fees (e.g., "$50–$100 travel fee within 50 miles"). Social Links Connect your external profiles: - Instagram - TikTok - SoundCloud - YouTube These links appear prominently on your public profile header and help clients verify your artistic identity. Mixes & Media Navigate to Content → Mixes to manage your media library. DJfindr supports embedding music from: - SoundCloud — Paste your SoundCloud profile or track URL. - YouTube — Paste your YouTube channel or video URL. You can upload a custom thumbnail image and a display name for each media entry, and tag it with genres. SoundCloud Sync (Pro & Platinum) If you connect SoundCloud under Settings → Integrations, DJfindr will automatically sync your public SoundCloud tracks to your Mixes section — no manual entry needed. Profile Settings At the bottom of the Profile Editor, you can toggle sections visible on your public profile: | Setting | What It Controls | |---|---| | Show Posts | Display your Featured Content posts | | Show Mixes | Display your Mixes/Media section | | Show Featured Reel | Display the featured video at the top | | Show Profile Tags | Display earned badge tags | Your Custom URL At the top of the Profile Editor, set your personalized profile slug — the URL that becomes djfindr.com/dj/your-slug. This is your permanent shareable booking link.
Managing Posts & Featured Content
Posts (also called Featured Content) are short-form media entries that appear on your public DJ profile page. They allow you to showcase recent performances, share announcements, and keep your profile fresh and engaging. Accessing Posts Navigate to Content → Posts on your dashboard. Creating a Post 1. Click New Post. 2. Add a Caption — a short headline or description for the post. 3. Upload one or more Images or Videos from your device, or embed a URL. 4. Click Publish to make it live on your profile immediately. What Posts Look Like Posts appear in a feed-style grid on your public DJ profile page, visible to all visitors. Each post displays: - Your uploaded media (image or video thumbnail) - The caption - The post date Managing Posts - Edit — Update the caption or media on any existing post. - Delete — Remove a post permanently from your profile. - Reorder — Drag and drop posts to control the display order on your profile. Profile Visibility Settings From your Profile Editor (Content → Profile → Settings), you can toggle entire sections on/off for your public profile: - Show Posts — Toggle visibility of your entire Posts section. - Show Mixes — Toggle visibility of your Mixes/Media section. - Show Featured Reel — Toggle visibility of your Featured Video at the top of your profile. - Show Profile Tags — Show or hide your earned profile badges. Tip: Consistent posting keeps your profile active and signals to the DJfindr algorithm that you are an engaged DJ. Active profiles receive a slight boost in search rankings.
