The Settings section lets you configure your account details, notification preferences, subscription, and external integrations.

General Account Details

Navigate to Settings → Account in your dashboard sidebar.

  • Legal Name & Phone Number — Your real name and contact info (kept private; used for Stripe verification).
  • Email Address — Your login and primary contact email.
  • Password — Change or set a new password from here.
  • Authentication Methods — View and disconnect linked sign-in methods (e.g., Google OAuth). If you signed up via Google but want to switch to email/password, you can detach Google here after setting a password.
  • Profile Appearance — Choose between Light, Dark, or System theme for your DJfindr dashboard.

Notification Preferences

Under Settings → Account → Notifications, toggle which alerts DJfindr is permitted to send you:

Notification Recommended Setting
New Event Request ✅ ON (Email + In-App)
New Message in Inbox ✅ ON (Email + In-App)
Offer Accepted by Client ✅ ON
Payment Received ✅ ON
Review Posted ✅ ON
Marketing Newsletter Personal preference

We strongly recommend keeping critical booking and payment notifications enabled on both Email and In-App channels to avoid missing time-sensitive actions.

Managing Integrations

Navigate to Settings → Integrations to connect external applications:

  • SoundCloud — Authorizes DJfindr to automatically pull your public SoundCloud tracks and display them on your profile under the Mixes section.
  • Google Calendar / Apple Calendar — Establishes a two-way sync so any events marked "Busy" on your external calendar are automatically blocked on your DJfindr availability calendar, preventing double-bookings.

Security

  • Identity Verification — DJs on the Pro or Platinum plan can initiate Stripe Identity verification (government ID + selfie). A verified badge appears on your public profile, building client trust.
  • Two-Factor Authentication — Enable 2FA from the Security tab to protect your account against unauthorized access.
