Signing up as a DJ takes about a minute. You'll create login details, verify your email, and then move straight into onboarding, where you build the profile clients actually see.

## Sign up

1. Go to **djfindr.com** and select **Sign up**, or use **Join as a DJ** in the top navigation.
2. On the first screen, choose **I'm a DJ looking to join**, then select **Continue**.
3. Enter your **First Name** and **Email**, and set a password.
4. Tick the box agreeing to our terms and policies.
5. Select **Signup**.

If you'd rather not manage another password, use **or continue with** at the bottom of the form and pick **Google** or **SoundCloud**. You can link the other one later from **Settings → Account**.

## Password requirements

Your password must:

- Be longer than 10 characters
- Contain a capital letter
- Contain a number
- Contain a symbol or other non-alphanumeric character

## If you have an invite code

Select **Have an invite code?** below the form and enter it in the **Invite Code** field before you sign up. Some codes come with a plan attached, so it's worth entering it now rather than later. ## Verify your email

After signing up, we send a verification link to the address you used. Open it to unlock the rest of onboarding. If it hasn't arrived, check your spam folder, then use the resend link on the verification screen.

## What happens next

You land in onboarding, which walks through five steps: **Personal**, **About**, **Services**, **Policies**, and **Plan**. Nothing is public until you finish. See [DJ Onboarding: The Five Steps](/hc/djs/articles/completing-dj-onboarding).

## Choosing the right account type

DJ and client accounts are separate. If you signed up as a client by mistake, you can't convert the account yourself — contact **support@djfindr.com** rather than creating a second account with the same details.
