Troubleshooting Verification Failures

If your identity verification fails, don't worry—you can try again. Here are the most common reasons for failure and how to fix them:

• Blurry Photos: Ensure you are in a well-lit room and that your camera focuses clearly on the text of the ID. Avoid glare from overhead lights or flash.
• Expired ID: You cannot use an expired driver's license or passport.
• Name Mismatch: The legal name on your DJfindr account must exactly match the name printed on the ID. If you used a nickname for your account, you will need to update your legal name in Account Settings first.
• Cut-off Edges: Make sure all four corners of the ID document are visible in the photo.
