Setting Expiration Dates on Proposals

If you send a proposal for a popular date (like New Year's Eve), you don't want the client sitting on it for weeks while you turn down other offers.

How to Use Expiration Dates

When building your proposal, you can select an Expiration Date. For example, you can set the proposal to expire in 48 hours.

• Urgency: It encourages the client to make a decision quickly.
• Protection: If the proposal expires, your calendar is not held hostage. The client will not be able to accept the proposal after the deadline, and you are free to book someone else.
• If the client misses the deadline but still wants to book, they will need to contact you so you can issue a new proposal.
