Creating and Sending a Proposal

A Proposal is your formal offer to the client. It outlines exactly what you will provide and how much it will cost.

How to Build a Proposal

1. Open the Booking Request and click Create Proposal.
2. Line Items: DJfindr will pre-populate a line item based on your hourly rate and the event duration. You can edit this amount, change it to a flat fee, or add additional line items (like "Lighting Package" or "Travel Fee").
3. Contract Terms: Review your standard cancellation policy (attached automatically).
4. Expiration Date: Set a date when the proposal expires if you want to create urgency.
5. Message: Add a personalized message thanking the client for reaching out.
6. Click Send Proposal.

The client will receive the proposal and can accept it by securely entering their payment details.
