## Platform Fee Explained

The platform fee is a percentage automatically deducted from each payment before it is added to your payout balance. For example, on a $500 gig:
- **Lite:** You receive $400 (20% fee = $100)
- **Pro:** You receive $450 (10% fee = $50)
- **Platinum:** You receive $475 (5% fee = $25)

## Managing Your Subscription

1. Navigate to **Settings → Plan & Billing**.
2. Your current plan, renewal date, and active features are shown here.
3. Click **Upgrade Plan** to move to a higher tier.
4. Click **Manage Subscription** to be redirected to the secure Stripe Billing portal, where you can:
   - Download PDF invoices for past billing cycles.
   - Update your credit/debit card on file.
   - Change your billing address.
   - Cancel your subscription (returns you to Lite after the current period ends).

> **Note:** Downgrading or canceling does not delete your data or profile. You retain access to your Lite-tier features immediately.
